National Green Week
WHAT IS GREEN WEEK?
Green Week is an initiative by Infrastructure Cook Islands dedicated to raising awareness surrounding the crucial importance of environmental sustainability. Our focus for Green Week 2025 is to promote and encourage the adoption of proper waste management practices. By educating individuals and organisations, we can collectively reduce our environmental footprint through responsible sorting, recycling, and reduction of waste, fostering a more sustainable future for generations to come.
CELEBRATE GREEN WEEK!
Celebrate Green Week 2025 by joining Infrastructure Cook Islands' Poster Competition! This year's theme, “Your Actions Is My Future,” focuses on inspiring creativity and awareness about environmental sustainability and waste management among local youth. The competition is open to children aged 4 to 12 years, with tailored themes and activities for each age group. Participants are encouraged to create A3-sized posters that reflect the theme and highlight sustainable practices like recycling, reducing waste, and protecting the environment.
