Fare/Pricing Details – Round-trip Economy, Premium Economy or Business Premier airfare per person from Los Angeles (LAX) to Cook Islands. Transportation is on Air New Zealand-operated flights between the US and Cook Islands. Includes Government fees and taxes which encompass the Passenger Facility Charge of $4.50 and the September 11th Security Fee of $5.60 USD per person per enplanement in the USA to a maximum of $10.00 USD. Taxes are subject to currency exchange fluctuation and may vary from the estimated taxes shown. Additional baggage charges  may apply. Fare is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.Other terms & conditions apply.  Fare Basis: S38 (Economy), A38 (Premium Economy) and J38 (Business Premier)

Payment & Ticketing - Ticket must be purchased at least 2 days prior to travel. Bookings made online must be purchased immediately with credit card. Prices are in US dollars and offer is available in the USA only. Electronic tickets will be issued on all eligible routes and sent to the email address provided in the booking process. Waitlisting is not permitted. Prices are subject to change at any time prior to purchase. We want to provide you with the most competitive fare deals in a fluctuating marketplace and because of this, prices may go down. Under the fare rules of all fare types (excluding full price fares) we are not able to provide rebooking with a refund of the difference in price if a lower fare becomes available. Please read all fare rules carefully before booking.

Cancellations/Changes - Ticket is fully refundable without penalty within 24 hours of ticketing when purchase is made 7 or more days before departure of the first flight in the itinerary. After the initial 24 hour period, the following conditions apply. Economy Class: Ticket is non-refundable at any time. Changes are permitted with $200 change fee per adult or child. For “no–shows”, the airfare is non-refundable and ticket value is forfeited. Premium Economy Class: Cancellation penalty of $300 applies before departure. Ticket is non-refundable after departure. Changes are permitted with $150 change fee per adult or child. For “no–shows”, no-show penalty of $150 applies. Business Premier: Cancellation penalty of $500 applies before departure. Ticket is non-refundable after departure. Changes are permitted with $400 change fee per adult or child. For “no–shows”, no-show penalty of $150 applies. All fares: A fare upgrade may be required subject to booking class availability. A service fee of $50 USD per person will apply to changes. The new ticket must be of equal or greater value than the original ticket. Please contact Air New Zealand if you need to make changes. Other restrictions may apply.

Frequent Flyer Accrual – Economy: Permitted with Airpoints and United Mileage Plus / Premium Economy and Business Premier: Permitted

Minimum/Maximum stays – no minimum stay and 12 month maximum stay

Children/Infants – Economy and Premium Economy: Accompanied children 2-11 years pay 75% of the adult base fare. Business Premier: Accompanied children 2-11 years pay 100% of the adult base fare. All fares: Accompanied infants under two years of age not occupying a seat pay 10%. For sales from 9 July and travel from 1 December 2012 international passengers will no longer pay a departure fee at the Rarotonga International Airport, instead the International Departure Tax will be collected within the ticketable airline taxes.

The International Departure Tax will show as tax code QE for travel from the Cook Islands which will amount to NZD55.00 for passengers departing between 1 December 2012 - 30 June 2013 and NZD65.00 for departures from 1 July 2013. The International Departure Tax will apply for all passengers aged 12 and over. Children under 12 will be exempt.
