Given travel and border restrictions, we know a lot of you can’t be here for the event – so we are bringing it to you! This is the first time we have been able to provide this new virtual alternative for keen marathon runners and walkers around the world! 

You can run or walk any time over the weekend starting from Thursday 25th - Saturday 27th March. Runners or walkers can choose from the 10km course, half marathon 21.1Km course, and the full 42.2km marathon course.

If you've ever visited the beautiful island of Aitutaki, you would know of the island's unique layout. The main island, dwarfed by the vast lagoon, offers gorgeous scenery of both inland and beach views. The diversity of the breathtaking natural terrain means you can enjoy the best of both worlds during the Marathon!

How will you submit your time? 

When you have completed your run or walk, please email us first/last name, a screenshot of your time PLUS an awesome finishing line image to [email protected].

Even though you won't get the thrill of chasing your favorite competitor, you can see their names again and hope that your placement is as good, or better than last year.  As always, we expect all racers to abide by the safety guidelines in their country and to practice social distancing to keep safe!
