Located on the shores of the Titikaveka Lagoon in Rarotonga, Sea Change Villas is
one of the island’s premier accommodation destinations.
Sea Change comprises 12 fully self contained villas and 2 new studios or “dayrooms”,
all set amongst lush tropical gardens and looking out across the emerald
lagoon to the outer reef where the waves roll in from the mighty Pacific Ocean. Along
with that, the warmth, the swaying coconut palms and other local plants - constantly
remind you that you are in the tropics.
The six beachfront villas are right on the beach. This very private beach is just steps
away from your front deck and there is safe swimming in the wide lagoon that
stretches three to four hundred metres to the reef.
Every villa has its own freshwater pool, along with quality fittings to make your stay
comfortable and enjoyable; and most of all there is an emphasis on seclusion. Sea
Change Villas are ideally suited for people looking for peace and privacy.
Many of their clients tend to be honeymooners, retired baby-boomers and emptynesters
with time to slowdown and enjoy themselves, so the seclusion, tranquility
peace and quiet suit them just fine. Many guests are repeat visitors who have fallen
in love with the rythmn of the Cook Islands and its people.
When asked to identify what they enjoy most about Sea Change, on site managers
and part owners, Beverley and Craig Bennett said, “...in addition to the relationship
we have with our community, including our landowners, it is our guests and the
people who make up our team. They are all local, all friendly and all professional. We
recognise that having high quality facilities, a superb location and great climate are
only part of the recipe for a successful holiday destination, we have worked hard to
recruit, retain and support a team who ultimately support us. Our team are always
striving to deliver exceptional customer service and we often hear them engaging
with guests, giving helpful advice and directions and explaining local customs and
culture. In many ways it is their resort, not ours.”
Sea Change Villas have received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for six
consecutive years, are number one in their category and in 2015 were welcomed to
the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.
Apart from three recently completed beachfront villas, Sea Change is about to open
two ‘day-rooms’ to help soften the blow of international flights to the Cook Islands
which arrive or depart at anti-social hours and which don’t always coincide with
normal check-in and check-out times. The day-rooms provide arriving or departing
guests a place to rest while waiting for their rooms to become available, or for their
flights to depart. The day rooms are like hotel rooms with a TV, bed, kitchenette and
