Shop at Our Local Markets

There are several markets in the Cook Islands to explore. The largest and most popular is the Punanga Nui Market on Saturday mornings in Avarua, Rarotonga. This market is a great place to shop for local handicrafts, artworks, souvenirs and more. A couple of the Pa Enua (outer islands), like Aitutaki and Atiu, also have their own market experiences. The best advice for a good market visit is to go early (as vendors do sell out), bring cash, and have fun shopping!
