I'm Sabine, widely known around Rarotonga as the Eco Warrior, and I've spent over 20 years on this island doing my small part to make it a little bit better. From my upcycling studio, I turn everyday waste (bike inner tubes, plastic wrappers, drink cans, inflatables and more) into handmade bags, jewellery and art. Come join me for one of my hands-on workshops. You'll leave with something truly one of a kind, made right here in Rarotonga.

In addition to raising awareness of plastic pollution at a local level, it is equally relevant to remember that the nations of the Pacific are especially vulnerable to climate change, and plastic usage is a contributing factor. The brand name C.I.R.C.L.E - Cook Islands Recycling Creations Living Environment - is inspired by Sabine’s never ending care for the environment and is defined by giving a second life to discarded materials.
