With the hopes to inspire the Cook Islands youth, the team at Cook Islands Tourism (CIT) participated in the one-day 2022 Careers Expo that was held last Thursday. The CIT booth decked out in the brand colours stood out with students recognizing the popular pink and the Love a little Paradise tag lines, connecting it immediately to CIT.

The team at tourism encouraged the youth to take up careers in the tourism industry as the leading industry for the country. CIT’s educational booth consisted of Kia Orana Values presentations and a game to test their knowledge of the different tourism sectors with associated prizes to entice and incentivize their interests and participation. The booth received much attention from the participation of over 300 students from years 11-13.

The careers expo is an essential part of the CIT’s operations and one that is planned well in advance to contribute to growth, development and advocate for the career opportunities that exist within the tourism industry for the Cook Islands.
