Adventure Cook Islands
Overview

Adventure Cook Islands is a PADI Dive Resort, SSI Dive Centre, SDI Dive Resort as well as a TDI Dive Resort. Our dive centre caters for highly experienced divers as well as total beginners. We offer a wide range of recreational and technical diving training. From learning to dive, courses to continuing education courses, professional-level courses and technical rebreather courses, we offer courses for every experience level and interests. We also offer snorkelling and freediving trips by boat to the outer reef.

Our trips are designed to meet the demands of all our guests. Our friendly guides have been working for many years in the local dive industry. They are amongst the most experienced Divemasters and Instructors working in the Cook Islands and will show you some of the best diving Rarotonga has to offer. Our sea adventures include:

  • Scuba Dive Trips to Rarotonga's best spots
  • Introductory Dives • Refresher dives
  • Recreational Diving Courses through PADI, SSI and SDI
  • Technical Diver Training through TDI and SSI XR
  • Outer Reef Snorkeling and Freediving Tours

Our Tours
We have dive and snorkel sites all around the island. Our favourite sites are the passages and drop-offs along the south coast, however, we also dive the north, west and east coast. The choice of dive sites is always dependent on sea conditions and diver experience.

All our dive trips are guided and our dive sites offer a variety of interesting terrain, from passages, caverns and swim-throughs to steep drop-offs and broken up shipwrecks. Rarotonga has a big variety of coral, tropical reef fish and other marine life.

We always keep our groups and course classes small, so you won’t be counting diver fins when you dive with us.

Our dive centre is also rebreather friendly and we store Sofnolime, and oxygen as well as helium for deeper, technical mixed gas dives. We conduct trips either at 8 AM or at 12:30 PM.

Never Dived Before?
If you are new to scuba diving, Rarotonga's lagoon and ocean offer great conditions for introductory dives and dive courses. Train with us and get your PADI, SSI or SDI Open Water Diver certification in Rarotonga.

Keep learning
We offer a large selection of continuing education courses and technical diving courses.

Boat and Safety
Our custom-built dive boat can easily accommodate 6 divers or 7 snorkelers. All our boat handlers are experienced and qualified skippers. For your safety, we carry oxygen on board for all dive trips and our boat is always equipped with VHF, mobile phone, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, lifejackets and flares.

Multilingual
Apart from English and Cook Islands Maori, we also speak fluent German, French, Italian and Dutch to accommodate our Polynesian neighbours and European travellers.

We are located at the beautiful Aroa Beach, next to the Rarotongan Beach Resort on the southwest corner of the island. The beautiful Aroa Marine Reserve is literally right in front of our door.

We also hire out a large selection of rental equipment and vehicles like bicycles, scooters, kayaks, snorkel gear and bodyboards.
