You haven't visited Atiu until you've visited Punarea! Guests on the Atiu Punarea Culture Tours will embark on a truly unique Atiuan experience, exploring the local island culture passed down through the generations. On this tour guests will: 

• Hear the history of Atiu 
• Watch a Tapa cloth making demonstration
• Ignite a tuitui (traditional natural candle) 
• See a Tuki Poi (staple food) demonstration
• Open up the umu (earth oven) and assist Joshua with plating the cooked food for lunch. 

This tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
