As vibrant and colourful as the frangipani in bloom, Rarotonga is home to a thriving local arts fraternity. Pieces by local artists can be viewed and purchased from small outlets, including two galleries specialising in original works by leading local artists, the Beachcomber Art Gallery in town and The Art Gallery in Arorangi.

Ancient tradition is preserved in the National Museum and Library in Avarua, a great source of education about our Cook Islands culture and tradition.
