Club Raro has reopened after an extensive two-month renovation of the public areas, restaurant, lobby, bar, pathways, pool and pool surrounds creating a whole new guest experience!
Kia Orana and welcome to the new look Club Raro! From 1 May Club Raro will become Rarotonga’s latest adults only resort for ages 18 years and over. Guest enter the refreshed lobby, past newly revealed water features on either side of the entrance, and now see straight through to the sparkling Pacific Ocean.

Lounge furniture has replaced the lobby pond and creates a fresh retro feel to celebrate that Club Raro was built in the 70’s and was the happening place to go in Rarotonga! The end wall of Jalapeños restaurant off the lobby has been removed and replaced by bifold doors which open onto an expansive wooden deck. Tropical breakfast and all-day dining are available in this new indoor / outdoor space under the shade of established coconut trees.

The standard and pool view room patios have been replaced and enlarged to provide guests with more space to soak in the tropical feel of the gardens. Pathways surrounding the restaurant and pool have been replaced and extended. Additional areas have been created and tiled for sun loungers to relax poolside before cooling off in the retiled pool. And it doesn’t stop there! Inside the pool the seating at the swim up bar has been doubled – what better place to enjoy one of Club Raro’s famous cocktails!

If being oceanfront and looking over the coral beach at the spectacular view is your idea of tropical bliss put your feet in the sand at the new Sand Bar while watching the wave break on the reef. For late night relaxation Club Raro now has the Club Bar located in the Lobby. Open all day from 11am until late for the latest in trendy gin cocktails and tropical favourites. Happy hours are 11am- midday and 4-6pm daily.

General Manager Tish Mete and the excited team - all of who contributed to the renovation project - look forward to welcoming you to Club Raro for the new Club Raro experience!
