VAIMA ON THE BEACH is located in Vaimaanga, close to Wigmore's Superstore and the Old Sheraton Resort, on the South (sheltered) side of the Island. Vaima was the first restaurant on the island, which opened in the ’70s. We have outdoor dining on the beach – let your toes play in the sand while perusing our menu offering a wide range of delicious entrees, mains and desserts served with casual elegance while watching the fantastic sunsets.

Most popular choices are _ Grilled Scallops, Chicken and Spring Wontons, Catch of the day (fresh fish grilled and served with a Paw Paw salsa, potatoes and vegetables of the day, Fillet of Beef Wellington, Slow roast Pork Belly, Chicken Delight, Chicken or Vegetable curry, Key Lime Pie, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Crème Brûlée. Indoor seating with ocean views and local artwork. Pizzas are popular for families with an interesting menu to suit children and their parents, dine in or take away.

We offer a full bar service with wines from New Zealand and a selective Whisky Bar with specialist Scottish malts etc.
