Cook Islands Tourism Head Office and Northern Europe once again unite to attend this years ITB in Europe.

The world’s largest tourism fair took place from March 7 to 11, 2018 in Berlin. More than 10,000 companies and organizations from 186 countries and regions exhibited their products to visitors in 26 halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. Once again, there was a high percentage of buyers in a decision-making capacity. Over the week-end, the so-called consumer days, approximately 60,000 visitors headed to the fairground. The Cook Islands team and display stand was well prepared for this consumer rush by having manned the stand, not only with ourselves (Cook Islands Tourism and Turama Pacific Travel Group) but two local wholesalers as well, to make sure interest can be converted into sales.

Throughout the three Business-to-Business (B2B) trade days the Cook Islands team attended approximately 50 plus trade meetings with wholesalers, airlines and other stakeholders, plus another 15 PR and media appointments.
