The Aitutaki Cultural Tour Guide booklet, set to be launched at Tamanu Beach Resort on Thursday, September 5th, is the culmination of efforts stemming from the first cultural tour guide workshop in Aitutaki.

The workshop brought together over 60 participants representing various tourism businesses on the island and was aimed to enhance the cultural knowledge of local tourism operators, ensuring consistent storytelling and adding value to their operations.

With the valuable contributions of orators and translators, alongside the creative talents of Cook Islands Tourism photographers and graphic designers, the Aitutaki Cultural Tour Guide booklet was carefully crafted. The booklet serves not just as a guide for visitors but also as a means to preserve and share the stories of Aitutaki, ensuring they are passed down before they fade away.

After much collaboration and dedication, the booklet is ready to be shared with the community and visitors alike, marking a significant milestone in the island's journey toward cultural sustainability.
