Noeline Mateariki, Director of Sales & Marketing (Global), and Robert Skews Managing Director of Turama Pacific Travel have embarked on a 4-week travel blitz to restart marketing initiatives with the European market.

Intentions are to inform the European market of why and how they can travel to our little paradise using the new PPT-RAR connection on Air Rarotonga.

This week they complete the first leg of the 4 part trip, the Nordic markets with Cook Islands Tourism representatives, Ian Griffiths and Lars Schubert. To date, they have visited Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Amsterdam and met with top-performing tour operators for Turama Pacific Travel group and new operators who focus primarily on upscale travel packages.

Robert Skews commented that operators are excited about the dual package opportunities for clients that being Tahiti & Rarotonga.  Of more importance is the attractive new 8-night Southern and 4-night Northern group packages that Turama Pacific Travel group has. There is positive feedback and interest in these unknown islands says DoSM, and Noeline Mateariki as packages like this contribute to a visitor's length of stay and overall yield whilst supporting Pa Enua business.

Next week the pair will be in Germany meeting with important travel partners, visiting up to 8 cities, and speaking to at least 50 agents. More to be shared in the coming weeks.
