Italian Travel Agents Experience Our Little Paradise
Last week, the Cook Islands welcomed a special famil visit from Europe. Two dedicated travel agents, Angela and Laura, made the long journey from Milan, Italy, to experience the warm hospitality, genuine culture, and stunning beauty they had heard so much about.
Nick Costantini, General Manager for Cook Islands Tourism in Europe, shared:
“We’re seeing a growing number of travel agents using their own hard-earned money to travel across the globe and experience the Cook Islands first-hand – to meet our people, stay in our accommodation, and live our culture. It’s a true sign that our Mana Tiaki message is resonating with the trade and being shared with future visitors. Agents like Angela and Laura are not only contributing to our economy, but they’ll forever be ambassadors of our Little Paradise back in Italy.”
Italian visitor arrivals grew by 53% in 2024 compared to the previous 12 months, and numbers are expected to continue rising in the months ahead.
Cook Islands Tourism extends its sincere thanks to everyone who helped make their trip a memorable and enriching experience.
