This included travel agent functions during an FTI Oceania Roadshow attracting over 250 agents across five German cities including; Constance, Baden-Baden, Essen, Wuerzburg, and Hamburg.

FTI is one of the biggest European wholesalers and one of the most important sellers to the Cook Islands. Other Oceania partners in attendance were ANZ and some AU states, TNZ, Fiji, Tahiti, Western Australia and Singapore Airlines.

The roadshow was followed by in-office-visits to some specialists based in Northern Germany, such as Travel Essence, Honeymoon Travel, DSI Reisen and Gebeco (a TUI brand).

The journey continued with the Globetrotterdays from Diamir Reisen in Dresden, a BOTG member and important partner for the Cook Islands. They held their two day consumer function in a “Globetrotter“ store in Dresden for the first time this year, after a two years break.

“The promotions have been really intense, giving destination presentations to the public and providing confidence and inspiration to travellers to choose the Cook Islands as their holiday destination. With access now available via Tahiti, we hope to get more European travellers over to the Cook Islands soon,” says Lars.

This week Lars travelled to Vienna to attend “Die Presse Schau“, a luxury consumer show on the “Coco Weltweit Reisen“ stand, an important wholesale partner for the Cook Islands in Austria.
