We are delighted to share that several travel agents from Southern Europe chose to spend their winter holidays in the Cook Islands this year. This is a powerful testament to the growing reputation that the Cook Islands have earned. When agents are willing to personally invest in experiencing our destination's unique culture and lifestyle, it highlights the undeniable appeal of our islands.

The feedback from these agents has been positive. Comments such as "a dream come true," "the most authentic and beautiful experience possible," and "we can’t wait to return and tell our clients to come and visit" reflect the deep impact the Cook Islands have had on them.

During their visits, the agents enjoyed an array of experiences across Rarotonga and Aitutaki. Highlights included site inspections on both islands, providing them with an in-depth understanding of our offerings. The agents also experienced the vibrant Punanga Nui Market on a Saturday, which added an authentic touch to their stay. We extend our sincere thanks to the industry partners who made these experiences possible, especially those who accommodated the site visits over the weekend and provided guided tours.

Nick Constantini, our Market Representative for Southern Europe, expressed his enthusiasm: "It’s a great tribute to the reputation the Cook Islands have attained over recent times. If agents are paying their own way to visit, it shows just how much they value the experience we offer."

We extend a heartfelt meitaki ma'ata to the suppliers, tour operators, and accommodations that played a pivotal role in making these visits so memorable.

We would like to acknowledge the following agents and the experiences that made their visits extraordinary:

  • Irene Munoz (De Polo a Polo Travel, Spain):
    • The Vaka Cruise
    • Wet N Wild | Whale Watching Tour
    • Moana Sea Scooters
    • Te Vara Nui
  • Antonella Coser (Stopover Travel, Italy):
    • Te Vara Nui
    • Tumutoa Tours | Umu & Fire Show Experience

  • Raffaella Ranocchi (Going, Italy):

  • Francesca Bianchini & Family (Madame Voyage, Italy):
