Exploring the island with guides Kura and Jacopo offers a personable and memorable adventure with a unique insight into the natural environments of Rarotonga that can only be experienced with locals. 

An intimate experience that will bring you closer in appreciation for nature and the marine environment as learn about its importance to our people and island paradise. You will encounter sea creatures such as sea cucumbers, crabs, starfish, snails, moray eels, sea urchins, octopus, and also learn about one of the most important living creatures in our waters, the coral and reef. Your walk takes you to the edge of Avaavaroa passage where, if you’re lucky, you may spot green turtles and eagle rays.

Ariimoana Walkabout tours operates daily departing at 8am, except Sundays which are reserved for private group bookings.
