Started in 1996 by Hinano Macquarie, Maire Nui Gardens has evolved from what was originally swampland, into a tropical oasis loved by both visitors and locals alike. Maire Nui Gardens is located on the South side of the island and encompasses 7 acres of colorful and unique plants, walkways, rock formations, bridges, water features, lily ponds, compost stations, and worm farms.

Children especially will enjoy running along our many pathways and spotting fish and aquatic life in our ponds. Hidden amongst our lush vegetation you will find our cafe which offers a unique island dining experience.
