Cook Islands Tourism Makes Successful Debut at German Photo & Adventure Show
Cook Islands Tourism Northern Europe marked its first appearance at the renowned German consumer show "Photo & Adventure." The established event, celebrating its 10th year, attracts a dedicated audience of photographers and travel enthusiasts. Held over two days (June 8th and 9th) in Duisburg, a major city in Western Germany, the show boasts a unique venue – a revitalized former heavy industry park that now draws visitors with its industrial heritage. The presentations, delivered by Austrian photographer Oliver Bolch, attracted an average of 150 viewers each. Notably, Mr. Bolch visited the Cook Islands approximately one year ago and is also the organizer of the annual Austrian edition of the Photo & Adventure show held in Vienna. The show attracted a diverse clientele, distinct from traditional travel fairs. Cook Islands Tourism's booth enjoyed significant foot traffic from potential Cook Islands visitors. Over the two days, approximately 13,000 individuals explored the fair and its associated workshops. This successful debut at Photo & Adventure underscores Cook Islands Tourism Northern Europe's commitment to exploring innovative marketing channels to connect with potential travellers seeking unique travel experiences.
