Pacific Resort Rarotonga proudly participated in the World Oceans Day Clean-Up. As part of their ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, they immediately raised awareness among their staff and mobilized a dedicated team of 20-30 members for the event.

They organized their efforts into two groups. The first group focused on cleaning the shores of Muri Beach, starting from the resort property and working towards Titikaveka. The second group headed out to the community hall Enua Manea in Titikaveka, to clean the beach in that area. Both teams also cleaned surrounding streams of the property, roadside and other areas in a bid to collect the most the fastest! After the clean-up, the teams gathered for some training on rubbish separation and proper disposal of all the various items found. Regional Manager, Ani Thompson says "We are proud to be part of this important movement and delighted that the Cook Islands are actively contributing to the global effort to protect our oceans. Meitaki ma’ata to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication!" Watch their amazing efforts here.
