Cook Islands Tourism Wraps Up Travel & Adventure Show Series in North America
Cook Islands Tourism concluded its participation in this year’s Travel & Adventure Show series with the final stops in Denver and Santa Clara, following previous appearances in Los Angeles and Phoenix. The weekend events attracted consumers actively planning their next holiday, providing an ideal platform to showcase the Cook Islands. General Manager North America, Christian Mani, and Director of Sales & Marketing, Noeline Mateariki, represented the destination, engaging with a steady stream of travel enthusiasts. Attendees included past visitors, those familiar with the Cook Islands, and travellers inspired by recent content creators' experiences. The team provided insights into the unique offerings of the Cook Islands, further strengthening the destination’s presence. Common questions included, for those familiar with the Cook Islands: “What can I do there?”, for those unfamiliar with the destination: “How does it compare to Tahiti?”
Key Outcomes & Next Steps
Consumer travel shows continue to be a valuable platform for increasing destination awareness, gathering market insights, and assessing the effectiveness of marketing messages and positioning (USPs, key differentiators, and storytelling approaches). Based on collected insights, we will refine our messaging and marketing collateral to better resonate with our target audience, says Noeline, DoSM Cook Islands Tourism. Looking ahead, we have committed to attending five shows in 2026, Los Angeles (relocating to Long Beach), Phoenix, Denver, the Bay Area, and a new addition in Seattle with more information to be provided shortly on how you can participate.
