Cook Islands Tourism's return to FITUR Madrid was successful, setting the stage for more Spanish and Portuguese tourists.

We partnered with Turama Pacific Travel Group, Tourism Fiji, Fiji Airways, and Australian tour operators to promote the Pacific region. Key achievements included securing support from Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, and Air Tahiti Nui for joint marketing in 2025. This will help increase traffic via Sydney/New Zealand and the Papeete-Rarotonga route. Cook Islands Tourism also connected with about 50 current and potential travel agents and wholesalers in Spain and Portugal, paving the way for more training and promotions.
