The new year started busy for our Northern Europe representative Lars Schubert. On January 13th, he left Germany for a roadshow in Switzerland – one he was attending for the first time - to train approximately 20 travel agents in Lucerne and another 40 in Basel. Both cities are part of Switzerland, one of our best selling local markets, and not visited often during our regular market activities. Despite a smaller number of attendee in Lucerne, all agents attending in both cities were very interested in our little paradise and will send guests to our shores in the future for sure.

Following the roadshow in Switzerland, Lars attended CMT in Stuttgart, Germany – the world's largest consumer travel fair. CMT took place from January 18th to January 26th this year. Cook Islands Tourism partnered with Miller Reisen, one of our key partners selling the Cook Islands in Northern Europe who also just visited the Cook Islands with their own famil in December last year, by joining them at their booth. Lars also held two Cook Islands destination presentations to about 90 attendees, with excellent feedback.
