The Cook Islands was represented at the annual Dreamtime Travel Consumer show in Switzerland, an essential event that offers an excellent opportunity to engage with interested Swiss travelers. The event attracts approximately 1,500 attendees, with Lars delivering a 25-minute destination presentation to an audience of over 40 visitors at a time. The Swiss traveler is one of our top European visitors after the United Kingdom, German, and Italian markets who tend to stay longer in the Cook Islands, often visiting more than one or two islands.

The Cook Islands also participated in the "Live to Travel" roadshow, organized by one of our Belgium and Netherlands-based wholesale partners. This included a consumer day near Brussels, followed by a travel agent training session in central Netherlands. Lars had the opportunity to conduct a 30-minute presentation at both events, as well as engage in numerous one-on-one discussions with attendees. He also used this time to conduct additional meetings and trainings with key wholesale partners, including Travel Essence, Aussie Tours Belgium (BOTG), and Pacific Island Travel Netherlands (also a BOTG member).

The sales trip proved highly valuable for strengthening our presence in these key European markets.
