The Cook Islands SPCA are a small but passionate team of dedicated volunteers working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of animals on the beautiful island of Rarotonga. During your visit, we invite you to support this important cause:

Op Shop At the heart of our operations is the SPCA Op Shop, where you can find unique treasures while supporting our cause. From clothing to household items, every purchase contributes to the welfare of the animals we care for. The SPCA Op Shop is located in the Punanga Nui markets open at 10am until 2pm Monday - Saturday.

Rescue Centre Our team also manages the SPCA rescue centre, which provides a safe haven for animals in need. We offer shelter, nourishment, and love to those without a home, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

Desexing In our ongoing commitment to animal welfare, we are currently focusing on a desexing project in partnership with Te Are Manu (Cook Islands Vet Clinic). By addressing the issue of overpopulation, we aim to keep the dog population under control and ensure that every dog has a chance at a happy and healthy life.
