Put on your walking shoes & join us on this informative walking tour. The Avarua Historical Walking tour is a 1½  hour leisurely paced guided walk through the historical parts of Avarua, down town. 

The tour is conducted by our knowledgeable guide who will trace the Cook Islands history from Polynesian settlement of Rarotonga to the discovery and colonization by New Zealand  administration, the missionaries and through to independence. The tour concludes at a nearby location with fruits and juice refreshments.

Pa's Cross Island Trek - Max 18

Discover Marine and Wildlife Eco Centre has been created to showcase the Cook Islands unique and diverse marine and wildlife.  Live exhibits such as coconut crabs and aquarium fish are intermingled with static exhibits on geology, geography, turtles, sharks, fossils, shells, shipwrecks, ecology, cinema and so much more.  A rescue centre for turtle and bird rehabilitation is on site, and part of your entry fee goes towards supporting these. There is also an onsite ice-cream parlour (lickity Splitz)- packed with many tasty treats.

Established in 1997, Alberto's is restaurant located on the western side of the island in the beautiful village of Arorangi, situated between Edgewater Resort and Sunset Resort. Most famous for their local steaks loved by both visitors and locals alike, Albertos offers an A La Carte menu, cocktails, refreshing beverages, and a popular Asian Takeaway situated at the front of the establishment.

Mama Taras is a family-friendly property of 2-bedroom bungalows and a 3-bedroom luxury villa located slightly inland from Muri Beach. Really good value, is serviced every three days and has all the amenities that one would expect at their own home.
